What is Plasma Donation?

• Plasma is a part of your blood that has important proteins and antibodies. Doctors use it to make medicines that help people with certain diseases.

Why Donate Plasma?

• When you give plasma, you help make medicines that save lives. It’s a way to do something good for others and your community.

Who can donate plasma?

To donate plasma, you need:

• To be at least 18 years old

• Have a valid ID and permanent address

• No new tattoos or piercings within the last 4 months

• Weigh more than 110 pounds

• Be generally healthy

How long will it take?

• Your registration and first donation will take 2-3 hours. When you come back for future visits, it will take 1-1.5 hours per visit.

Will I get paid today?

• If you donate, you will get paid on the same day. Funds are loaded on a Pre-paid debit card which you can use at most any ATM.

What you need on your first visit:
1. Your Drivers License*
2. Your Social Security Card or W2

*If your Driver's License doesn’t have your current address, bring proof of address dated in the last 30 days (like a letter from bank, utility bill, anything from a company that states your address and is addressed to you in the last 30 days). When in doubt bring something mailed to you.

What to expect?

• First session is about 3 hours, every appointment after is about 1.5 hours. Bring headphones if you want to watch or listen to something. There will be wifi.

• Make sure to drink lots of water and eat a good meal before coming!

• They will give you a debit card and pay you directly to that debit card after each donation.

• Must pass basic health requirements and not be afraid of needles.
